Custom Newsletter Design

We’ll custom design a header, footer and main content area for one newsletter of your choice. You will need to supply us the content in full. We’ll email you a preview for one round of changes. After that, we’ll start slicing and coding.

Upload & Test in Mailchimp

Once we’re done slicing, we’ll upload the newsletter to Mailchimp and send you a test email so that you ensure it looks great in your inbox. If you choose the responsive add-on, then check your phone to see how it looks on there too!

Slicing & Coding

We slice our designs in image format. This allows us to create very rich newsletter designs without using bland default fonts (such as the fonts used in your email applications). We add alot of ALT text behind the scenes so that plain-text subscribers (are there any left these days?!) can also enjoy your content!

Designed in Sketch App

All our web & newsletter designs are fully designed in Sketch App. If you require them to be designed in Photoshop or Illustrator, please let us know. Conversion fees may apply depending on design complexity.

Branding Assets

We’ll need your logo and fonts. If you’re already working with us on other projects, we probably already have all we need. But if it’s your first time, please supply us with high quality vector of your branding materials and all fonts used.

Mailchimp Access

We’ll need access to your Mailchimp account. If you are not comfortable providing us with your Mailchimp credentials, please add suzana @ suska.co as a Manager in your account. You can find a tutorial on how to do this here.

Newsletter Content

We’ll need all the content for your newsletter. You’ll have to do some brainstorming about what you want to include in the header and footer. Keep in mind, that you will most likely re-use this header and footer for all your future mailings, so think social media links, website links and other important details about your brand that DON’T change. This initial newsletter sets the tone for any additional campaigns you may create with us in the future. If you need help brainstorming, let us know!
